Kathryn (Kate) Bridgeman is in search of a living kidney donor to support her journey with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a condition she was born with and for which there is currently no cure. Kate remains hopeful that a living donor will come forward to empower kidney wellness in her life.
Kathryn’s blood type is O+, meaning that donors with O blood types are compatible, and she is also open to approximately 15% of A blood types who may be eligible for kidney donation. Many individuals may not realize their potential to be a match until they explore the kidney donation process.
